My name is Nathaniel, though most people call me Nat.

I’m a Perth-based photographer focused on capturing people in a way that feels natural, cinematic and genuinely human. No stiff posing. No awkward “what do I do with my hands?” moments. Just real emotion, calm direction, and photographs that still feel meaningful years later.

Most of my clients are not models. They are couples who feel nervous in front of the camera, families trying to hold onto a season of life that is moving too quickly, or people celebrating moments they never want to forget.

That’s where I come in.

My approach is simple:
create an environment where you can relax, be present, and trust the process.

Whether it’s a surprise proposal, wedding, family session or personal branding shoot, I focus on capturing the moments that feel honest rather than overly staged. The small reactions. The in-between moments. The things that actually matter.

Over the years, I’ve photographed everything from intimate local sessions around Perth to large celebrations across Australia. What has never changed is my belief that good photography is not about forcing perfection. It’s about preserving feeling.
